Peshawar to be made a model city: Inayatullah Khan

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Inayatullah Khan has said that planning has been finalized to improve the cleanliness system, provision of drinking water and municipal services to the people. He said an autonomous company would present Peshawaras a model city through cleanliness campaign.           He expressed these views while inaugurating the cleanliness campaign at UC-4 Gul Abad Peshawar  on Tuesday. Chief Municipal Officer, Javed Amjad, Jamaat-i-Islami leader Bahrullah and elite of the area were also present on the occasion. The Minister said the redressal of problems confronted to people was the top priority of the present government and all resources would be utilized to provide better civic facilities to the masses. He said soon all the responsibilities would be handed over to a private company to control the whole cleanliness system of the city.           Inayatullah said the standard of life of the people would be raised due to the reforms made in the local government system. He said the government had taken solid steps for improving the cleanliness situation in the whole province and all the complaints of people in this regard would be removed. He urged the people to extend helping hands to the government in its effort to facilitate the people and start mega developmental projects in the whole Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
